Our founder, Corey, is passionate about helping people find relief through natural wellness products, and wants to help break the stigma around CBD products and use.

The goal here is for us to be as transparent as possible about our products and processes. We will continuously add new Q&As to this page as we receive questions from the community. Please email info@motivecbd.com or DM us @motivewellness on Instagram if you have questions about CBD in general, Motive products specifically, or anything else you might want to know! Odds are, you aren’t the only one wondering. We’ll make sure you personally get an answer, and we’ll also post it here to benefit others. Thank you for wanting to learn more, and for helping us educate the wellness community.

How do I know your products are safe?
At Motive CBD, we take product quality and your safety very seriously. All of the hemp used to produce our products is grown in the US, and all of our products are third party tested for consistency. These test results confirm that all of our products contain the amount of CBD we say they do, and are free from heavy metals, pesticides, etc. We are in the process of adding third party test results to each our of product pages so they are easily accessible, but in the meantime, click the link below to download a ZIP file of all product test results!

Will I fail a drug test if I use your products?
All Motive products are federally legal and non-psychoactive. All but one of our products are completely THC FREE, which means they will not show up on a drug test. Our Full Spectrum tincture is the only product we offer that could, in rare cases, cause a positive test. In case you’re someone who cares about the WHY, keep reading!

CBD and THC are two different cannabinoids (natural compounds) found in species of the Cannabis plant. CBD products are broken into two categories, based on how much of each cannabinoid is present – both are federally legal and neither has psychoactive properties. CBD isolate contains 0% THC, while CBD distillate can contain trace amounts of THC (.3% or lower). Some people believe that trace amounts of THC make the CBD more effective. All of our products EXCEPT the full spectrum tincture contain CBD isolate, which means they are completely THC free. The full spectrum tincture contains CBD distillate (.3% THC or less), which could potentially show up on a drug test. We get this question a lot and love having the opportunity to help consumers make the best choice for their lifestyle and routine!
